AI SaaS | AI UX strategy

I'm an AI UX expert. My experience has been building steadily since 2021, when I was tasked with defining the strategic shift toward AI at Sisense. In this BI SaaS company, I worked as a senior product designer within the UX team. I remember asking a colleague, an early adopter, how he used AI and for what purpose. His tips got me started. As a serial innovator, always drawn to what's next, I found AI both challenging and inspiring. I collaborated with an in-house AI expert to integrate AI capabilities into their existing platform, including AI-driven data sifting and tagging for internal business intelligence tools.

In 2023, I led a comprehensive design initiative for an AI-driven platform that supports cancer researchers in identifying personalized treatments. I facilitated the discovery phase and developed an MVP centered on using information visualization not to show standard molecule connections but to communicate the probability of evidence leading to a viable treatment. This conceptual shift became the foundation for the product redesign, and I learned a great deal from close collaboration with their AI developers.

Since then, I've been working with Toptal, and over the past year, most of my projects have been AI-related:

  • 2025: A complete revamp of an AI platform for developers

  • 2025: a 0-to-1 bio-intelligence platform to define an MVP in a still-emerging field

  • 2025: A UX audit for an AI-assisted educational platform for teachers

  • 2024: An AI coach for an ice hockey analytics platform

  • 2024: An AI-enhanced wellness app for elders

  • 2024: Cultural mapping for an AI agent in the workforce SV-based startup

  • 2023: SaaS AI Strategy - Enterprise

  • 2021: SaaS AI for cancer research

Read more about my AI UX guidelines and practice. In parallel, I developed a method called Cultural Mapping, created during a project for a platform that manages AI agents. It helps uncover how cultural narratives shape our expectations of AI—such as how Western cultures tend to view AI as something to control, while Eastern cultures may perceive it as something to harmonize with and be part of. These insights can shape human-centered AI integration strategies.
